Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

The Senior Manager, eCommerce is responsible for the strategy and day to day management of websites and In-App/On Device (Roku, Amazon TV, Android) purchase flows for Sling including conversion rate for Sling.com and device transaction platforms, A/B testing plans, new flow development, and best practices adherence. He/She will plan, execute and deliver on site testing strategy and roadmaps that will lead to the accomplishment of the groups 2017 objectives. The team requires a conversion expert with strong skills in enterprise eCommerce management and understanding of best practices in user behavior, A/B testing, responsive design, excellent communication proficiency and the ability to work across and gain buy-in from multiple stakeholders.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Lead innovation, strategy, and development of Sling.com and on device transaction flows in line with group goals and objectives
  • Own transactional experiences on Sling.com and In-App including ownership of Adobe Experience Manager, Target, and Analytics platforms
  • Embrace consumer shopping and buying behaviors across multiple platforms to manage and optimize the marketing funnel to drive consumer preference of Sling TV as their entertainment provider
  • Leverage segmentation and marketing analytics to provide insights and deliver website/In-App programs to maximize marketing return on investment
  • Partner across the organization to ensure holistic campaigns that together deliver significant market share shift
  • Strategically asses acquisition opportunities, current customer impact, and implement corporate-wide programs
  • Effectively manage teams and projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis

Skills - Experience and Requirements

Skills and Experience

 

A successful candidate will have the following:

  • 5-8 years experience in Site Management for a high traffic site
  • Experience with In-App Purchase flows on Roku, Apple, Android, and/or Amazon TV
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency
  • A proven record of effective leadership and desire to mentor and train junior to mid-level team members. Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking
  • Experience with Adobe digital platforms and/or their direct competitors
  • Success in a start-up like environment. Ability to think creatively and strategically, but a willingness and desire to ‘roll up your sleeves’
  • Sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and in-depth experience with online analytics
  • 2-3 years experience directly managing a team
