Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Marketing Specialist II, Email Marketing include:

  • Manage email operations for all International campaigns and assist with the deployment of campaigns supporting Domestic and Latino businesses
  • Own tracking of industry best practices and competitor activity for the team
  • Build an email library to archive historic strategies and key metrics on their effectiveness
  • Handle team Email Schedule updates and organization
  • Support broader email marketing team with channel wide campaign QA
  • Help run reports to educate internal business partners on email performance and testing results
  • Assist with team’s audit documentation and ESP organization

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Marketing Specialist II candidate will have the following: 

  • Data-driven approach to email marketing including knowledge of basic KPIs
  • A minimum of 3 years agency or direct-to-consumer experience
  • Knowledge of email marketing strategy, campaign tactics, and operations
  • Effective problem-solving ability and the desire to work autonomously
  • Very strong analytical skills and a familiarity with A/B testing metrics
  • Natural detail orientation with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and balance multiple teams’ goals at once

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Exact Target (or other Enterprise level ESP)
  • Knowledge of basic email deliverability best practices
  • Basic HTML coding experience
  • Comfort with more complex Excel functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.)
  • Marketing or Business degree
