    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The future of television is here — Sling TV.  Internet television or OTT (over-the-top) is rapidly evolving and will reshaping how we watch TV.  We are the future of live and on-demand streaming video, a pioneer in internet-delivered television and the mobile access of entertainment. We are seeking a Senior Email Lead to join our Denver, CO - based team. This is an exciting position in a fast-moving team that requires the ability of candidates to hit the ground running.      Responsibilities include:

    • Manage team of three people.
    • Manage overall strategy for actives, formers and prospects within the email channel for domestic and Latino lines of business.
    • Develop email customer journeys to drive engagement, retention and monetization.
    • Build out and manage subscriber communication calendar, campaign planning including working with internal channel owners, external partners and agencies.
    • Lead the development comprehensive testing, tracking, and analytics capabilities for continuous performance improvements.
    • Manage the development of email marketing channel strategies for Domestic and Latino lines of business.
    • Manage campaign planning and execution including working with external email service provider & creative agency.
    • Oversite for creative traffic for email to insure we are getting proper internal and external approvals.
    • Develop and drive test & learn agenda to drive continuous improvement in performance across all KPI’s.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, product and brand to help deliver results and build the brand.
    • Cross-functionally work with MP&A team to set up and analyze campaign data and make decisions on marketing efforts.
    • Perform competitive analysis to understand best in class email marketing strategies and utilize those learning’s to enhance our email campaigns.


    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Senior Email Lead candidate will have the following: 

    • Passion for innovation and agile responsiveness
    • Data-driven approach to driving email marketing performance
    • A minimum of 7-10 years agency/client experience
    • Strong experience with email marketing strategy, campaign tactics and operations
    • Effective problem-solving ability
    • Very strong analytical skills; both qualitative & quantitative
    • Detail orientation, strong organizational skills
    • Proven written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Understanding of creative development and the importance of creativity in marketing communications
    • Strong leadership skills, previous people management is required
    • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud ESP (or other enterprise ESP), Red Point CRM or Moveable Ink a plus
    • Marketing or Business degree, MBA a plus
