Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Marketing is at the center of telling our story of innovation to the consumer.  We offer significant career growth and skill development opportunities across a wide range of disciplines including Digital, Latino, Brand, Direct, Retention, International, Media, Programmer, Analytics, Consumer Insights and Customer Marketing.  From day one, you will be responsible for learning the DISH business, developing and executing marketing plans, collaborating with other teams across the company and working with internal and external creative agencies.  To be successful, you will need strong analytical skills, a passion for consumer and market understanding and a drive to deliver creative and innovative solutions that allow us to win in the marketplace.

 

The successful candidate will possess strong project management, analytical, and relationship management skills to support the overall DishLATINO business. The position will primarily be responsible for the execution of DishLATINO acquisition and retention campaigns, as well as strategy and execution of partner marketing campaigns with key programming partners.

 

Primary job duties and responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Execution of DishLATINO acquisition and retention campaigns including creative optimization, collaboration and insights with GM counterparts, production and vendor management, calendar, timeline, and budget management.
  • Management of DishLATINO transactional communications, including key customer communications regarding bill, payments, and customer changes.
  • Lead relationship with programming partners. Design strategy and execute programmer marketing campaigns for prospective and existing customers. Includes creative development, aligning on direction with programmers, and full execution including production management where required.
  • Management and execution of programmer marketing contractual funds.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Marketing Lead will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university, preferably in Marketing or Business. Experience in US Hispanic marketing is a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous direct management of holistic marketing campaigns and prior experience with direct mail and print a plus. Experience working with agencies is preferred. 
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills. Sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal teams and agency partners.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred with specific emphasis on Excel. Advanced proficiency in Spanish preferred.
