Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Strategic Sales Manager position is within our Broadband and Alliance Management team and will be responsible identifying new partnership opportunities for DISH and working with to finalize agreements between our two companies. This position will report directly to the National Accounts Manager. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide a singular point of contact to the business partners that we manage.
  • Work with DISH business development teams to optimize our relationship building processes. Establish a track record of being able to close new accounts and deals.
  • Work to grow incremental business through expansion of product offerings and improved operational and sales processes.
  • Ability to communicate a customer facing message promoting services and their benefits
  • Ability to analyze data, establishes facts, draw valid conclusions about performance, and put plans into place to improve results.
  • Ability to recognize best practices, documents them, and rolls them out to a broader audience.
  • Ability to set goals, track performance, drives action items to meet or exceed goals, and communicates regular updates to all levels of the organization.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Strategic Sales Manager will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university plus at least two years of experience; or at least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage key relationships within Dish and with external vendors
  • Ability to motivate and manage by influence, a multi-site, nationwide program. Also, analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions about performance, and put plans into place to improve results.
  • Ability to recognize best practices, documents them, and rolls them out to a broader audience
  • Ability to set goals, track performance, drive action items to meet or exceed goals, and communicates regular updates to all levels of the organization
