Job Duties and Responsibilities

At DISH we are disrupting the media and entertainment industry! We are launching new products, exploring new markets and there is only more on the horizon! The Talent Acquisition team is integral to our success as we supply the fuel for our continued growth and award winning innovation. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

 

  • Create and recruit  job requisitions within DISH's applicant tracking system, iCIMS
  • Develop strong relationships with business partners both in-person and remotely 
  • Adhere to all talent acquisition practices and expectations and serve as the expert on the hiring process for all business partners
  • Fill job requirements quickly and efficiently through sourcing, screening, networking, and telling the DISH/ Sling TV story effectively
  • Understand the staffing needs within the the business in order to describe unique challenges to potential candidates and get them excited about the DISH/ Sling TV brand
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of technical candidates through pro-active recruiting techniques

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) of full life-cycle recruitment, selection, and negotiation techniques
  • Agency staffing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience recruiting either IT or Engineering roles; experience recruiting business operations roles is a plus
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple positions, projects and client relationships all at once
