Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Customer Retention team is looking for an individual to support critical ongoing corporate and operational projects. This position will be a bridge between the Customer Retention team and the operational teams within Dish. This person will be required to work cross functionally with Operations, IT, and training to make the program a success.  The successful candidate will be able to navigate a corporate environment. 

  • Supports the strategic execution of retention programs that can be used on DISH customers to manage churn. 
  • Analyze and develop strategies based on a combination of reports/metrics and anecdotal information on the industry and current trends.
  • Partner cross-functionally across the business to align goals and objectives, manage competing priorities, and develop key relationships to drive department initiatives.
  • Represents the interests of the department and our subscriber base in cross-functional meetings and with the executive team.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Marketing Lead will have the following:

  • Degree from a four-year college or university required with 3+ years of related work experience; Bachelors/Masters in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline strongly preferred, MBA a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills are required including the ability to multi-task, be organized and drive projects towards completion.
  • Experience working with large scale projects; operational management and corporate strategic experience is preferred.
  • Ability to facilitate a project with multiple steps from conception to delivery and measure success.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams by communicating effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency -- while not being overly sensitive, quickly frustrated or easily flustered.
