Job Duties and Responsibilities

A Business Operations Analyst is responsible for the high-level review of retailer businesses. In addition to assisting authorized retailers comply with DISH business rules and applicable laws, including Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Telephone Sales Rule (TSR), the analyst will travel extensively, providing onsite visits to retailer business locations.

 

Primary responsibilities include the following:

 

  • Face-to-face interaction with authorized retailers, including owners, employees, independent contractors, agents, and third-party affiliates during onsite visits. Compile and summarize findings to the business.
  • Conduct in-person and telephone mystery shopping as needed.
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering the required training to facilitate changes in policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the completion of difficult projects that are broad in nature by following general guidelines. Maintain and applies knowledge of practices and procedures in area of expertise.
  • Create, explain and maintain data mainly utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Up to 75% travel required (Monday-Friday).
  • Ideal candidate will have work experience in the Pay TV industry. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to effectively present information for a variety of issues.
  • Ability to prioritize, meeting deadlines and target completion dates.
  • Motivated Self-starter with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
  • Ability to create, maintain, analyze and publish data primarily utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
