Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Human Resources team is a fast growing and exciting group to work for at Dish. As the Executive Assistant to our Chief Human Resource Officer and HR executive leadership team, you will work to best serve the team in a variety of different ways.  


Primary responsibilities fall under the following categories:


  • Work through Microsoft Outlook to set and schedule meetings, arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries and directs preparation of records such as agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings
  • Maintain long range planners, travel and vacation calendars on a daily basis for HR executive leadership; screen incoming calls and responds to requests independently if necessary
  • Responsible for creating requisitions, processing invoices and coordinating with Accounts Payable to ensure prompt payment of high volume invoicing for DISH.
  • Coordinate events such as service milestone recognitions, team achievements, company/department social functions and training events; support special HR-related projects on an as-needed basis
  • Network with other Executive Assistants, Executives, VPs and Directors to form positive long-lasting relationships
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information relating to travel, expenses, disciplinary actions, pay rates, appraisal scores and promotions

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Executive Assistant will have the following:


  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent, related degree where appropriate, and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work well with staff at all levels from individual contributor to the CEO
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Friendly, positive, outgoing, polished and professional; a great personality outweighs experience
