Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Leadership looks to the Talent Management Team as a critical resource to ensure we develop and deploy great leaders, support employee professional development, and reduce risk through effective Compliance training. Our team creates, maintains and delivers innovative, high-impact development initiatives for its diverse and competitive leadership team.  In alignment with the company’s strategic direction, the newly created role of Leadership Development Associate will administer logistics for our Leadership Development courses, and assist with the administration of our Learning Management System.


Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Administers learning event schedules, registrations, requests and communications for all Talent Management training.  This includes communications, coordinating materials, shipping, and food/facilities where needed.
  • Provides guidance for all participants regarding training requirements, course curriculum, and other processes. This includes managing of L&OD email boxes.
  • Responsible for being a liaison between Talent Management and ServiceNow
  • Backup and collaborates with the Learning Management System (LMS) Program Manager:  
  • Backup support for other training session logistics. This includes but is not limited to booking locations, scheduling facilitators, enrolling participants, assembling and shipping materials for sessions.
  • Continually examine our processes to look for areas of improvement

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful LEAD Logistics Associate will have the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a focus in organizational development, mathematics, human resources management, statistics, industrial/organizational psychology or related field; or two years related experience and/or training
  • One to two years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills, and Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Strong customer service skills, including interpersonal communication and positive conflict resolution. Also must be a strong team player who actively seeks to contribute to the success of the team and their teammates in a positive manner
  • High attention to detail and process, and is adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, result-driven, time-critical, rapidly changing environment with minimal daily oversight.
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment. High threshold for dealing with ambiguity.
