Job Duties and Responsibilities

THE AREA: Brand Management - Digital Marketing 

DISH is embarking on an ambitious journey to deliver the most compelling TV watching experience by getting our product into the households of more and more consumers. We believe that by listening to and championing the consumer, we can transform our industry by delivering big ideas that make emotional connections and inspire movements. 

The Digital Marketing Organization pushes itself every day to be a world-class, innovative, data driven team that develops, maintains and maximizes our relationships with key internal constituents, online agencies, digital ad networks and programming partners to drive business growth.


THE ROLE: Website Marketing Lead, Digital Marketing 

  • Lead projects focused on customer acquisition and sales through Dish.com.
  • Lead innovation and development of digital marketing and eCommerce programs on our website and online shopping cart for mobile and desktop visitors to deliver sales and build the DISH brand.
  • Partner across the marketing department, larger DISH organization and with external partners like ESPN, FOX, AMC, NFL, HBO, Google and others to drive digital campaigns, conversion rate optimization testing and to ensure marketing campaigns are executed holistically to deliver significant market share growth.
  • Embrace consumer shopping and buying behaviors across multiple platforms to manage and optimize the website marketing funnel to drive consumer preference of DISH as their entertainment provider.
  • Leverage segmentation and marketing analytics to provide insights and deliver website programs to maximize marketing return on investment.
  • Strategically assess acquisition opportunities, current customer impact, and implement corporate-wide programs.
  • Partner with in-house and external agencies to design new pages, assets, and tools for the website.
  • Effectively manage projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Understand and implement core SEO principles on-site.
  • Coordinate on-site integration with tools, 3rd party partners, and digital media creative elements.
  • Manage internal and external creative and development resources on multiple desktop and mobile sites.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

  • Desire to win the business every single day with a strategic mindset, and passion for innovation and agile responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and an ability to think creatively, strategically and quickly and to learn and act quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking.
  • Proven experience in working directly with senior leadership teams with excellent attention to detail, creativity, motivation and communication skills.
  • Sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and in-depth experience with online analytics tools such as Omniture, Web Trends, Google Analytics; familiarity with information technology development practices, coding and web design preferred.
  • An eye for design that improves the digital user experience.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience in digital marketing and bachelor’s degree required.
