Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Business Operations Analyst II conducts in-depth analysis on a wide range of initiatives, to include employee incentive programs, retention, promotion, compensation, and customer experience. Additionally, she/he uses quantitative methods to recommend changes that have significant impact on current programs and analyzes procedures for innovative and creative improvement opportunities.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Take ownership and develop a thorough understanding of key employee and customer impacting initiatives through analysis of current programs.
  • Develop analytic methodologies to identify areas of opportunity within key initiatives.
  • Work as part of a team to test and monitor new initiatives, gather insights, and make recommendations for future programs.  
  • Develop models of business data to quantify underlying drivers, predict future performance, and inform impactful business decisions.
  • Clearly and effectively articulate well thought-out analysis and solutions to management.
  • Work well as both an autonomous contributor and member of a larger team. 
  • Be flexible and nimble, adapting well to change in a dynamic business environment and work well with deadlines.  

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Business Operations Analyst II will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university - Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or Business a plus.
  • Apply objective, analytical, and orderly thinking to the analysis of complex problems.
  • Ability to communicate findings to management, suggest innovative business solutions, and develop real-time fixes to employee and customer impacting issues.
  • Superior conceptual and numerical analytic skills.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite and Access.  
  • Desire to continually learn.
  • Ability to self-manage projects.
