Job Duties and Responsibilities

Dish Technologies is hiring a Mailroom Clerk to join our Dish Technologies team in our Englewood, CO offices.

 

The Mailroom Clerk performs various duties including a variety of administrative functions, receive and sort incoming mail and packages to be distributed to multiple departments. Dispatch outgoing mail and packages and prepare bulk mail reports.

Specific duties to include:

  • Assists in mail room duties including receiving deliveries from UPS, FedEx and USPS.
  • Sorts packages and mail and delivers to recipients.
  • Collects mail from internal drop off locations.
  • Delivers outgoing mail to carriers.
  • Assists in packing, adding postage or account numbers and shipping outbound mail and packages.
  • Completes shipping/receiving paperwork with low percentage of errors (rack, pallet and system travelers).
  • Prepares and ships finished goods materials.
  • Ensures a clean and safe work place are maintained.
  • Assists with non-routine duties as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Mailroom clerk will have the following:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 6 months of experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
