Job Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Translating business requests into data queries, integrating data from multiple sources to create comprehensive and accurate data sets and support in-depth marketing analysis
  • Create queries to provide marketing insights. Process owner of the Sling marketing campaign platform.
  • Central point of contact to ensure all marketing programs are correctly tagged from a campaign measurement perspective. Work cross functionally with IT and Operations to support bi-weekly release schedules.
  • Automate key reports for the management of a marketing program. Subject matter expert for marketing campaign results. Make recommendations to channel and brand managers and senior leadership on marketing campaign investment decisions
  • Interpret data to identify marketing trends and anomalies. Monitor KPI’s for individual campaigns and overall marketing program against budgeted thresholds.

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Marketing Specialist will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from four year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of experience
  • Demonstrated curiosity for analysis with large data sets, an attention to detail and an unparalleled work ethic
  • Experience with SQL and Tableau required. Advanced Excel skills are a must-have.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. The position requires the candidate to present findings to senior management including C level leadership.
  • Proven ability to handle complex tasks with minimal direct oversight from management. Must be comfortable working without direct supervision and be internally motivated to seek out projects and drive forward needed initiatives.
