    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    With a saturated consumer base, the focus on customer retention for the TV industry is becoming increasingly important to net subscriber metrics and profitability.  As a result, our need for talented and motivated individuals has never been greater.  In this role you will have the opportunity to join the Retention team in a forecasting, reporting, and analytics capacity with the primary responsibility of explaining the performance of our retention tactics and the impact that they are having on the business.

    In addition to your reporting/analytics responsibilities, you are expected to help guide strategic decisions and manage the performance of our retention groups.


    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: 

    • Forecast and manage retention performance using various analytical software.
    • Guide business decisions through effective communication of key findings.
    • Develop, support, and troubleshoot processes to improve, advance, or simplify data gathering and analysis.


    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Financial Analyst will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, preferably Business/MIS, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering; and 2+ years of experience.
    • Experience and skill set necessary to work with “big data”; SQL or similar programming language is required. 
    • Proven quantitative and analytical ability.
    • Spreadsheet modeling in Excel, Database (SQL, VBA).
    • Tableau experience a plus.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
