Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate, energetic and flexible individual to join our International Business Unit as a Lead, Grassroots & Partnership Marketing. Our team operationalizes, markets, and sells international programming packages, available in over 20 language groups, within the United States.
The Lead, Grassroots & Partnership Marketing – South Asian (G&PM) will develop and execute our grassroots within the South Asian market across the US. S/he would develop our partnership marketing program from the ground up in identifying and executing partnership and promotional opportunities with corporations, associations, and groups that can help us acquire customers within the South Asian market. Additionally, the Lead, G&PM will be responsible for supporting the local retail team with the execution and fulfillment of branding, collateral, and merchandising in our local retail channel. Finally, the Lead, G&PM will be responsible for logistics and execution of our local South Asian market events and street-team deployments and coordination with events vendors.
The scope of the role may include but isn’t limited to quality check marketing materials in retail stores, identifying and fulfilling retail merchandising and brand placement opportunities and deploying local marketing amplification plans to increase acquisition opportunities among the South Asian market within our key DMA’s. S/he will manage the day to day executions with vendors and local sales/street teams to ensure all tactics are in market as planned. S/he will work cross functionality across the enterprise with key stakeholders from relevant business groups to ensure all business unit requirements are met, and initiatives can be launched without business disruption.
S/he should be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, taking the initiative, and working to find creative solutions as needed.
