Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist II to join our Retention Marketing team. This role will invest in the relationship with free trial and paid subscribers to enhance their engagement and build affinity for Sling.  You’ll work within the team and with cross-functional business partners to drive loyalty across marketing touchpoints.  This is the right job for you if you like to use both analytical and creative thinking to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver messaging, segmentation, and targeting that aligns with retention marketing goals and priorities
  • Identify key consumer insights to be incorporated into email, in-app, and web customer touchpoints
  • Analyze data to report on performance, highlight areas for improvement, and act to close gaps
  • Execute testing plans to optimize campaigns
  • Collaborate with a Senior Marketing Lead and cross-functional business partners to deliver on engagement and loyalty initiatives
  • Work with operations to ensure that prioritized IT development initiatives are progressing, are on schedule, and meet project requirements
  • Continuously improve the My Account and customer service experience

A successful candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with focus in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on omni-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience with campaign measurement and a solid understanding of metrics that drive a business
  • Confidence using data to drive decisions and results
  • Passion for stepping into the customer’s shoes
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and taking the initiative to find creative solutions
  • Effective communicator with executive presence
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and Tableau
