    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    This Marketing Specialist position is responsible for establishing existing customer marketing strategies and reduce customer churn.  This position will work cross functionally on business-critical projects and drive innovative solutions that positively impact profitability and reduce churn. 


    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: 

    • Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications that drive additional customer engagement with DISH products.
    • Become an expert in the telecommunications industry, products and promotions.
    • Serve as a liaison and point of contact across business lines and functions and contributes to cross-functional marketing and communications efforts.
    • Track and measure results of marketing and communication efforts to ensure that results are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives.
    • Adjust plans as necessary to improve results/address latest developments.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
    • Present to executive management and business stakeholders at regular meetings.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Marketing Specialist will have the following: 

    • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing or communications strategies that delivered cross-functional business results with minimal supervision.
    • Track record of building strong relationships internally, working and collaborating across large organizations.
    • Willingness to roll up sleeves and solve problems when answers are unknown or time is of the essence.
    • Proven ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency -- while not being overly sensitive, quickly frustrated or easily flustered.
    • Degree from a four-year college or university required with 1+ years of related work experience; Bachelors/Masters in Marketing or related discipline strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
