    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    DISH Marketing is at the center of telling our story of innovation to the consumer.  We offer significant career growth and skill development opportunities across a wide range of disciplines including Digital, Latino, Brand, Direct, Retention, International, Media, Programmer, Analytics, Consumer Insights and Customer Marketing. 


    From day one, you will be responsible for learning the DISH business, developing and executing marketing plans, collaborating with other teams across the company and working with internal and external creative agencies.  To be successful, you will need strong analytical skills, a passion for consumer and market understanding and a drive to deliver creative and innovative solutions that allow us to win in the marketplace.


    Job Duties and responsibilities fall into the following categories:

    • Help DISH support its nation-wide network of third-party Local Retailers by managing and growing their digital marketing capabilities.
    • Understand a variety of local digital marketing tactics (display, search, social, email) to create the most efficient and synergistic media strategy for DISH Local Retailers.
    • Coordinate needs and digital best practices between DISH’s third-party Local Retailers, partner media agency, and digital marketing teams.
    • Work with Local Retailers to build and refine the most effective online presences, including web sites, online local listings, and map-based offerings.
    • Work with DISH’s partner media agency to create, maintain, and expand a comprehensive suite of digital offerings for Local Retailers.
    • Audit Retailers’ online presence and provide recommendations and trainings for improvement.
    • Coordinate with DISH sales team to collect and understand feedback from DISH Retailers and turn this feedback into enhancements to DISH partner marketing strategy.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Digital Marketing Lead, Indirect will have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Previous experience with various facets of Digital marketing (SEO, Display, social, Site Management, etc.)
    • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and an ability to think creatively, strategically and quickly and to learn and act quickly.
    • Experience with partner and co-op marketing a strong plus.
    • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking as well as ability to effectively manage projects with strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis.
    • Proven experience in working between several teams to drive cross-functional results.
