    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Marketing Lead – Search Engine Optimization, Digital Marketing 

    • Lead projects focused on customer acquisition and sales via natural search through Sling.com
    • Conduct keyword and competitive research to identify new areas of search opportunity; design & execute a plan to fill gaps
    • Identify, plan and execute tactical level SEO projects where needed without group direction and oversight
    • Leverage a combination of SEO and analytical tools to create meaningful and actionable SEO reports for multiple areas of Sling organization
    • Work with social and content teams to optimize YouTube and other content for search
    • Partner across the marketing department, the larger DISH organization and with external partners to ensure marketing campaigns are executed holistically to deliver significant market share growth
    • Partner with in-house and external agencies to design new pages & assets.
    • Effectively manage projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis.
    • Understand and implement core SEO principles on-site.
    • Manage relationship with any digital agencies that Sling may utilize for SEO efforts.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful SEO Marketing Lead will have the following:

    • Demonstrated ability to contribute to successful SEO campaigns
    • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in SEO best practices
    • Bachelors degree in marketing, software development or similar field
    • Master-level knowledge and understanding of how search engines and websites work
    • Ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency and an ability to think creatively, strategically and quickly and to learn and act quickly.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven experience working directly with teams
    • Sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and in-depth experience with online analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics & Google Search Console
