    DISH is looking for a curious, data and technology savvy go-getter to support development of the marketing technology roadmap, along with existing technology optimization, and evaluation/implementation of new tools to empower our Marketing Team and business partners to optimize performance. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Execution, the right candidate will have the experience and interpersonal skills to work closely with IT, Marketing Analytics, Marketing teams, and other DISH departments to oversee advertising and marketing technology, data strategy and innovation. Primary objectives of this role are improving data-driven decision making, enabling more integrated campaigns across tactics, aligning technology strategy across DISH departments, and optimizing usage and performance of existing technology.



     Primary Responsibilities Fall into the Following Categories:

    • Evolving and building alignment around the Marketing data and technology roadmap
    • Oversee new technology evaluation, implementation, training and integration
    • Participate in contract negotiations and manage key vendors
    • Work closely with marketing team members, other departments and corporate executives
    • Plan and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
    • Ensure tech projects are properly supported internally and externally, and deadlines are consistently met
    • Drive innovation, consistently showing improvement in results
    • Create recommendations on program and production changes and gain team and executive alignment
    • Stay up to date on key technology trends and changes happening in the martech and ad tech industries
    • Act as a liaison between Marketing, IT and Legal Teams

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Senior Manager will have the following:


    • Bachelors degree in a relevant course of study (e.g. Information Technology, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Marketing etc.)
    • MBA or relevant Master’s Degree a strong plus
    • Minimum 3 years of prior client-based experience with experience in marketing and tools that support both online and offline campaigns in areas such as campaign management, call tracking, attribution measurement, CRM, data management platforms, and analytics
    • Strong project management, Request for Proposal (RFP) writing and vendor management skills
    • Ability to quantify the return on investment and value of hosted systems to ensure the investment is aligned with expected results
    • Experience managing cross-functional teams, using interpersonal skills and influence to motivate actions and positive outcomes
    • Ability to formally articulate requirements and use cases to internal and external groups
    • Equally comfortable discussing requirements and proposals with technically savvy and non-technical personnel, articulating complex programs in a way that is simply understood and facilitates decisions
    • Proven ability to motivate team members to exceed expectations
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Understanding of test methodologies and design
    • Working knowledge of RedPoint Data Management, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and/or Amazon Web Services cloud a strong plus
