    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    A Knowledge Management Specialist within our Business Process and Technology team will work with a wide variety of business groups within DISH to deliver critical information to call center agents, in-home service technicians and customers.


    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:


    • Using knowledge management and organizational development principles to advance knowledge sharing experiences focused on business outcomes
    • Coordinating with subject matter experts and other contributors to the website to ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality.
    • Developing strategy for overall site navigation, content, and engagement with and dissemination of content to end users
    • Leveraging key reporting metrics and feedback mechanisms to produce continuous improvement
    • Recommending improvements to websites based on research into industry best practices and analysis of user feedback and reporting.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Knowledge Management Specialist will have the following: 

    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
    • 4+ years of experience in KM methodologies, tools, and concepts
    • Ability to present information and interact effectively with a large spectrum of different stakeholders, including IT personnel and business executives
    • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively, particularly in situations where only limited standardization exists
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Experience with HTML is required
    • Experience with CSS and JavaScript is preferred but not required
