    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    We are seeking a strategic and high impact HR professional to lead DISH’s Talent Acquisition function. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, The Vice President, Talent Acquisition, will be a key member of the executive HR leadership team.  This role will be responsible for ensuring delivery of best practice talent acquisition support across DISH, Sling, Wireless, University Relations, Corporate, and Field recruiting. In partnership with key business leaders and functions throughout the organization, this position will lead in the development, execution, and anchoring of innovative sourcing and recruiting programs that will enable the Talent Acquisition team to attract high-quality talent for all areas of the organization. This will be accomplished by partnering with stakeholders including client groups and HR functions. This individual will also be responsible for overseeing vendor management and leading the development and execution of recruiting analytics and reporting.

     

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop a high performing, energetic and passionate team to ensure growth and success.
    • Attract, lead, and manage a team of 70+ employees to ensure retention, development, and growth of talented people.
    • Leverage social media networks to expand talent pools and pipelines.
    • Manage ongoing efforts to promote Dish and Sling’s brand initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
    • Remain knowledgeable on daily immigration operations, proactively assessing and planning for regulatory changes that may impact the program and/or visa-dependent employees.
    • Drive efforts to maximize all recruiting and ATS system functionality.
    • Identify key target markets to support business needs and promote scalability consistent with company growth.
    • Manage and maintain recruiting budget in a creative and strategic manner.
    • Identify, plan, and implement key projects to improve quality and increase productivity and overall customer satisfaction.
    • Promote inclusion and diversity to align with company’s values and culture.
    • Utilize data and analytics for all staffing and retention strategies.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Vice President, Talent Acquisition will have the following: 

    • Bachelor's or Master’s degree and 10+ years of solid knowledge and experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) of full lifecycle recruitment.
    • Corporate, Field, and University Relations experience (including creating & implementing performance improvement and learning strategies) preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate all levels of management and staff.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with extensive experience creating presentations for executive leadership team.
    • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
    • Ability to stand firm and remain committed when necessary and facilitates discussion and understanding when difficult decisions must be made and executed.
    • Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, results-driven, rapidly changing environment - with minimal daily oversight.
    • Ability to travel 25%- 50% of the time depending on business demands.
