  • Summary

DISH is a Fortune 200 company with more than $15 billion in annual revenue that continues to redefine the communications industry. Our legacy is innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo, including reinventing ourselves. We disrupted the pay-TV industry in the mid-90s with the launch of the DISH satellite TV service, taking on some of the largest U.S. corporations in the process, and grew to be the fourth-largest pay-TV provider. We are doing it again with the first live, internet-delivered TV service – Sling TV – that bucks traditional pay-TV norms and gives consumers a truly new way to access and watch television.

Now we have our sights set on upending the wireless industry and unseating the entrenched incumbent carriers.

We are driven by curiosity, pride, adventure, and a desire to win – it’s in our DNA. We’re looking for people with boundless energy, intelligence, and an overwhelming need to achieve to join our team as we embark on the next chapter of our story.

Opportunity is here. We are DISH.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

This may be the most exciting time to be a part of DISH and the Dish Technologies Recruiting team is currently in the midst of it all.  We are seeking a passionate Corporate Technology and Engineering Recruiter, who, like the rest of our dynamic team, does whatever it takes to deliver high quality management, professional and executive-level candidates.  In this process you will continue to advance the DISH and Sling brand across numerous markets and professional communities.  Our senior leadership team views Recruiting as an integral part of their own team, and you will find yourself immersed in cutting edge technology daily. We view ourselves as talent brokers and have an enormous amount of pride in each placement we make. Our team is very serious about going above and beyond to meet high expectations (which we crush every quarter!). We are a diverse and fun bunch who enjoy working (and playing) together.

We invite you to come and see who we are and what we’re all about!

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

    • You and your hiring managers will work together to scope job positions and determine what a successful candidate will look like for their team. Knowing your business and being prepared will set the stage for a great working relationship, and the ability to bring in the best talent.
    • Bring your A-game daily as you mine and source high potential candidates.  The thrill of the “hunt” excites you, whether it’s creating awesome search parameters or finding new places to source talent!
    • Thinking long term, and continually growing the pipeline of qualified candidates. A candidate you sourced doesn’t match your open requisition, but they’d be a great fit for DISH? Share them with other team members who may have a great match for them or continue to stay in touch with them for the future opportunities of our growing and expanding businesses.
    • Network, network, network! Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
    • Engage in the full lifecycle of recruiting, ensuring both your candidate and your hiring team are satisfied customers
