    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Compensation Configuration team is responsible for creating and managing the compensation structure for Dish Partners selling Dish services.  The Compensation Configuration team works with specific sales channels to support changes to compensation, provides research into incentives and accounts, and acts as subject matter experts for company-wide projects.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Configure and maintain Dish’s partner payment systems
    • Act as the point of contact to research and troubleshoot issues
    • Build relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization - project managers, internal customers, IT, etc.
    • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to build/maintain relationships and prepare for upcoming projects
    • Tactfully challenge indirect sales channels on their assumptions, issues, and proposed solutions in order to clearly define the problem and determine requirements
    • Evaluate information gathered from stakeholders, determine business requirements, and recommend next steps to management
    • Identify and manage project risks

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Business Analyst will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a 4-year accredited university and/or related experience with partner payment systems
    • Entry level experience with SQL
    • Great attention to detail and ability to organize information in a logical manner
    • Experience eliciting, formulating, and managing requirements
    • Experience working on IT related projects
    • Team player mentality - ability to add value by consulting with internal customers and executing projects
    • Strong analytical skills - ability to evaluate large amounts of information and develop models to make the information meaningful and actionable
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence people throughout the organization
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse groups
    • Ability to engage stakeholders and get buy-in throughout the organization
    • Ability to think creatively and develop recommendations that advance Dish's business as a whole
