    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Manager, Broadband Product Management is responsible for product definition, competitive intelligence, marketing, operational implementation, forecasting, and profit and loss oversight for the company’s residential broadband product portfolio, including dishNET Wireline, dishNET Satellite, Telco Partners, and 3rd Party Providers. The individual in this role will lead a team and is responsible for driving value and growth with emphasis on building subscriber activations, reducing churn and implementing product enhancements. This is a vital leadership role in the ongoing development of DISH subscriber and revenue growth and will serve as an internal and external champion for the department.


    Key responsibilities include:

    • Manage a team that monitors and drives performance across established business metrics (subscribers, revenue, operations, etc.)
    • Develop business plans to support roadmap recommendations to executive management including the launch of new features, products, benefits, options, and opportunities
    • Contribute to the strategy of how DISH Broadband sells into residential accounts
    • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and explore ways to grow the business
    • Support marketing, direct and indirect sales, and business operations
    • Subject Matter Expert for areas of responsibility
    • Research, interpret and analyze current market and industry trends and competitive environment to create DISH as the best in class provider
    • Communicate with all areas and levels of the company as well as with external partners and vendors

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Product Manager will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; MBA strongly preferred
    • 5 years of experience managing a product and/or team preferred
    • Strong initiative for anticipating and meeting business and customer demands. This requires a willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to get stuff done wherever and whenever needed
    • Exceptional analytical skills
    • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency
    • Excellent communication, attention to detail, presentation, organizational and project management skills.
    • General understanding of broadband trends, emerging technology, provider offerings, and relationships and good understanding of LAN and WAN Networking concepts, routing protocols, TCP/IP and VoIP.
    • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles as well as high degree of technical acumen and ability to synthesize new technology concepts at a fast pace.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures or government policy.
