    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The EDM IT Manager III will be tasked with managing day to day responsibilities of the high profile, high performing, Enterprise Device Management team. The EDM team consists of six system administrators responsible for managing SCCM, JAMF, VMware VDI, defining and updating EUC system standards and configuration, patching, software distribution, and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell). 



    • Provides encouragement, motivation, and support to a team of systems administrators 
    • Must be able to manage conflict resolution between employees, vendors, and self 
    • Develops and delivers performance appraisals 
    • Gives timely and effective feedback; coaches in private, praises in public 
    • Manages resource coverage for changes, training, holidays, etc. 


    • Continues the drive for automation in the organization
    • Manages the day to day operations and workload of the EDM team 
    • Works with vendors for service delivery and support issues 
    • Performs, plans, and implements proactive maintenance measures and upgrades to ensure continued system availability 
    • Manages team queue in ServiceNow ensuring ticket completion in a timely manner (BAU tasks) 
    • Ensures team develops and maintains process documentation, ie. Windows and Mac patching process documentation 


    • Reviews and provides feedback for change implementation plans 
    • Coordinates system changes with other IT Ops groups, and the business 
    • Validates change details, ensures processes are followed properly 
    • Manages project intake to EDM, and assigns resources 
    • Prioritizes projects and business as usual (BAU) tasks with system administrators  
    • Maintains awareness of a broad range of IT projects 


    • Must understand the EDM team's part in project and support work flow processes 
    • Works closely other IT groups such as NOC, IT Security, Data Networking, Windows, data center, and change management 
    • Able to communicate complex terminology in simple understandable ways to other IT management, employees, and non-technical business people 
    • Must be trustworthy to handle confidential situations in both personal and business situations 
    • Maintains a positive, can-do attitude toward work, the employees, and the company 
    • Must be able to accept mistakes, learn from them, implement measures to prevent them in the future, and move on

    Education and Experience 

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
