    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Senior Engineering Manager will drive excellence by providing leadership, technical expertise and employee mentorship for team members in Littleton, CO.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with Program Manager for development of enterprise wide, complex projects
    • Manage the evaluation of a variety of factors (e.g., reporting formats, cost limitations, security restrictions, etc.) to determine product configuration
    • Design and implement testing methodology, as well as prepares and maintains documentation
    • Coordinate activities for single focus groups
    • Set group goals and evaluating group performance at enterprise wide level
    • Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and delegating
    • Conduct performance appraisals, training and development, etc.
    • Enforce standards, policies, and procedures

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • Master’s degree in related field
    • Seven to ten years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    SKILLS

    • **This position requires relocation to Denver, CO**
    • Excellent knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
    • Excel in matrix organization and possess strong teambuilding, leadership, interpersonal skills and abilities to motivate and communicate with all levels of personnel.
    • Ability to facilitate, support, and implement change within the organization.
    • Effective project management, time management and delegation.
    • Ability to prioritize and allocate resources to align with department/company goal.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
    • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format
    • Ability to effectively present information to upper management, public groups, and/or board of directors
