    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    DISH Media Sales, the advertising sales division of DISH Network, provides smart, cost-effective media solutions that complement those of traditional national cable. Headquartered in New York, DISH Media Sales is part of the DISH Network family committed to offering the highest-quality entertainment and most advanced technology all at an unbeatable value.

     

    Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Seek new customers by continuously prospecting following Company's planned sales strategies and tactics.
    • Meet budgeted revenue goals and activity levels on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as defined by your market.
    • Monitor competitive activity and market conditions, providing feedback and suggestions to management regarding new product addition and existing product deletion.
    • Complete required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules and call and expense reports.
    • Create and propose advertising recommendations that best suit customer needs .
    • Prepare accurate advertising contracts on behalf of the company.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    DISH Network is currently looking for a top-tiered sales professional to call on various Advertising Agencies and Clients. This individual's success will be directly tied to an ability to help our client's strategize and achieve their growth objectives. The Advertising Account Executive is responsible for making sales calls to new and existing customers. We are looking for candidates with strong existing relationships to help grow the business.

     

    A successful Account Executive will have the following: 

     

    • 5-7 years national cable or broadcast Advertising Sales experience. 
    • Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University
    • Experience within the automotive vertical important
