    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The TV industry is rapidly changing, but one thing remains constant – people still love watching TV! As a Product Manager you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to create and redefine the TV viewing experience for the #1 Live TV Streaming Service in the US. You will be part of forging the way millions of people watch TV .

    A Successful Product Manager Would Have The Following

    • 1-3 years of experience in Product Development, preferably at a video, mobile, or similar company; experience with Design Thinking and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies a strong plus
    • Displays strong initiative for anticipating and meeting business demands, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and uncertain environment, a high level of intellectual curiosity, and a focus on generating results
    • Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, project management skills, along with great communication and collaboration skills
    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university OR relevant work experience OR combination of education and relevant work experience

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    Specific Responsibilities:

     

    • Quickly build detailed product knowledge and establish credibility as a product expert in order to successfully drive success of Sling TV's initiatives that impact all our platforms
    • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure that the content discovery roadmap aligns with strategic initiatives and manage changes or issues as they arise
    • Develop quality technical business requirements for projects and features; drive through to launch and maintenance
    • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management to deliver on the content discovery roadmap; own the problem definition, detailed requirements documentation and ensure consistency of design and functionality across the various Sling TV platforms
    • Identify and implement the right metrics to measure the impact of features; leverage data insights to determine areas of opportunity and innovation as it relates to improving content discovery
    • Develop a thorough understanding of digital video market segments, continually assessing the competitive landscape, and emerging industry trends, with an emphasis on 10ft. (TV) and mobile entertainment
