    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will establish crucial relationships to improve supply chain procurement lead times, strategic processes to result in a reduction of total costs of ownership (TCO) inclusive of quality of products such as tools, installation materials, fleet items, SHS for sale items and other products to support key initiatives.  The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will interface with nearly all business units to identify business trends and general field trends in order to minimize out of stock or excessive inventory positions throughout the project/product life cycle.

     

    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

     

    • Serve as the department P.O.C. to source, validate, procure and ensure timely execution of all inventory-related projects
    • Create, track, communicate and oversee dozens of weekly purchase orders which are the lynchpin to the department’s exponential growth targets
    • Utilize analytical tools to proactively monitor over 150 offices on their ability to succeed from a tool/inventory preparedness standpoint
    • Develop a thorough understanding of product application and requirements for each product line and business unit including how they are used in field installation operations 
    • Support strategic supply chain improvement initiatives such as in-sourcing versus outsourcing analyses, supply chain efficiency opportunities, and overall process improvement
    • Ad-hoc data analyses in support of growing the Pay-TV, On-Site Sales, Fulfillment and Direct-to-Consumer sales channels
    • Evaluate current supply chain processes with the goal of improving visibility, profitability and field-staff productivity
    • Construct vendor scorecards based on performance metrics, and assist/conduct supplier QBRs, as well as helping identify suppliers who may meet our needs more appropriately

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Supply Chain Analyst will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations, Business Administration, Project Management or other applicable fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Strong proactive communication skills to effectively manage vendors and internal business partners on all projects
    • Experience with enterprise procurement and sourcing under very tight deadlines
    • Ability to swivel across multiple highly-visible and critical corporate initiatives which will directly impact the ability of the department to hit key deadlines
    • Basic understanding of lean operating principles with a personal passion towards process improvement
    • Ability to perform basic financial picture of vendor proposals, supply chain costs, new project deployment ROI and payback periods
    • Deep track record of managing deadlines and deconstructing project deliverables into smaller actionable items
