    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Production Associate II at our manufacturing facility in Denver, Colorado supports the flow of product throughout the production space following computer-directed, systemic programming for advancing or failing of product. The associate is responsible for ensuring that departmental production and quality standards are met.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Ensure sufficient quantities throughout the production process, moving product via various modes such as pallet jack or 6 foot tall cart

    Conduct DISH’s testing process which includes visual inspection, use of hand-held tools, and operating/connecting computer components

    • Conducting manual testing process on sample receivers to confirm correct routing to vendors
    • Ensure that all equipment and the surrounding area are neat, clean, well-organized and maintained to standards
    • Bring all parts shortages, equipment, procedural and personnel problems to the attention of management
    • Keep necessary written or computerized logs and records as requested

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience 
    • Initial training and successful performance as a Production Associate I or lateral move from another department.
    • One year previous experience using a computer

    SKILLS

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Must have strong written, verbal and typing skills
    • Sufficient visual acuity to detect abnormalities in product
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

    REASONING ABILITY

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
    • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations 

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    • A minimum of four (4) total certifications (2 at level II) OR a lateral move from another department
    • Broadband must have Test certification

Ability to operate a pallet jack loaded with receivers.
