    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Sling Partner Marketing is a rapidly growing team at the forefront of consumer electronics and entertainment. In the spirit of a start-up and in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, we work with the country’s largest streaming device manufacturers (Roku, Amazon, etc.), electronics retailers (Best Buy, Walmart, etc.), internet service providers, and antenna manufacturers to spread the word about Sling and cord cutting. Our customers are looking for a better way to watch TV, and our goal is to make it easy for them to cut the cord, save money, and still get their favorite live sports, news, and TV shows. 


    We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic self-starter to join our team and help us accelerate our growth with our strategic partners in order to create the ultimate cord-cutting experience for Sling’s subscribers.


    The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing key initiatives with our partners, and will take ownership of the following areas: 

    • Implement new partner and new offer launches; responsible for facilitating collaboration and execution between internal and external teams. 
    • Own digital experience for your partnerships, including landing page designs, cart flows, etc.
    • Own creation of marketing materials across your partner channels, including digital marketing, gift cards, in-store signage, print materials, etc.
    • Own team testing programs; identify opportunities to test new concepts in market, execute tests, and evaluate results with recommendations for future campaigns. 
    • Constantly monitor market for new ideas and insights; consolidate market research findings for greater team.
    • Track partner/campaign performance and analyze the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns and tactics; Forecast future performance for new and existing partners. 
    • Work with various cross-functional teams, including marketing, programming, operations, IT, finance, and others to meet everyday partner needs. 



    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful candidate will possess the following: 

    • Excellent data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to quickly understand complex challenges
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based atmosphere
    • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, Business, marketing, or analytical major preferred, or equivalent education/work experience
    • 1+ year of relevant experience preferred
