    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    DISH Media Sales, the advertising sales division of DISH Network & Sling TV is seeking a Digital Sales Planner based in New York City to join a dynamic Planning team for Sling TV.


    The Digital Sales Planner will report to the Manager of Advanced TV within the Media Sales division. He/she must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships, both internally and externally.


    Job duties and responsibilities include:

    • Own the day-to-day for clients and is tasked with being well versed in addressable, digital and programmatic advertising solutions
    • Support sales team in pre-sales and post-sales functions
    • Manage the RFP, RFI and Planning process, from proposal generation to order entry
    • Create media plans that meet customer needs and maximize revenue for Sling TV
    • Schedule campaign kickoff and oversees campaign management throughout flight
    • Work closely with internal teams to help drive company-wide goals, create sales documentation and educate the team on digital ad solutions
    • Enters billing and executes invoice adjustments, incremental spends and cancellations
    • Provides guidance and mentorship to the Digital Sales Coordinators

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Digital Sales Planner will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, and 2+ years of related professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 2-4 years experience in media, with an understanding of impression based buying
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
    • Proactive and engaging with an ability to problem solve and manage details
    • Strong communication skills – oral, written and interpersonal skills are a must
