    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    DISH is looking for an entry level, dynamic and agile SAFe Program Manager to work in our Test, Support, & Integration organization (TSI) in Englewood, Colorado.  The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and problem solver, familiar and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.  They will coach, guide, and inspire others through lean agile practices and principles.  They will help create an environment of thinking to improve value.  This person will work in a process improvement team and collaborate with department leadership, Lean Agile Leaders, and other SPCs to help maintain existing reporting, develop new, meaningful Agile reports, coach programs and teams, train SAFe certification candidates with others and evangelize SAFe and Lean processes.

    • Support and contribute to the organization-wide Agile transformation strategy
    • Experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of an organization required
    • Help identify organizational impediments to a successful Agile transformation and work with the leadership teams, coaches and delivery teams to create effective strategies to overcome them
    • Actively facilitate the implementation and acceptance of new processes or procedures in the workplace
    • Skills and experience in leading and managing process assessment (documenting as-is) and process analysis (identifying improvement opportunities and defining future state)


    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    You will be considered if you meet these expectations:


    • At least 1 Agile certification such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT), SAFe Agilest (SA), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
    • Experience leading and managing process assessment (documenting as-is) and process analysis (identifying improvement opportunities and defining future state)
    • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent writing, teaching, presentation and communication skills
    • Skills in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)
