    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Business Operations Analyst on the Digital Customer Experience team works within the larger Customer Experience Operations (CXO) department and is responsible for eliciting business vision, scope, executing on transactional email strategy, and managing key projects for the team. In this role, you will help shape the strategic direction for how we communicate to our customers to create a memorable, best-in-class customer experience. An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering business solutions which build value for organizations.


    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

    • Customer Experience – Coordinates the design and execution of ad hoc transactional emails to provide a superior experience for our customers.
    • Communication Expertise – Serves as a subject matter expert and trusted resource for DISH’s email communications to our customers.
    • Relationship Focused– Works well with various departments throughout the company, including marketing, sales, product, and IT.
    • Project Management – Functions as a key owner of strategic customer experience initiatives, including new digital communication platforms and pilot initiatives.
    • Other duties as required. 


    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Business Operations Analyst will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or at least four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Adaptability in a constantly changing business landscape.
    • Strong communication skills with a large spectrum of different stakeholders from IT personnel, and technology vendors
    • Strong command of English language and grammar is a must, in order to ensure customer communications are concise and error free.
    • Must be able to handle different situations and tasks with minimal direct oversight from management. Applicant must be comfortable working without direct supervision and be internally motivated to seek out projects and drive forward needed initiatives.
    • Experience with MS Excel is required; HTML experience is preferred.
