    Job Duties and Responsibilities


    • Candidate will be a productivity enabler for Windows users across the DISH enterprise
    • Will own the employee experience for Dish’s Windows devices
    • Responsible for Windows device management with a focus on SCCM system administration
    • Duties include, but are not limited to, SCCM installation, system management, monitoring, backup and recovery and tuning
    • Demonstrates leadership through technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, business knowledge, organizational skills and professionalism 


    • Manages vendors for service delivery and support issues
    • Drives for automation of daily duties and repetitive tasks
    • Ensures appropriate processes and tools are in place for user and device security
    • Performs, plans, and implements proactive maintenance measures and upgrades to ensure system availability
    • Works effectively with other team members and project teams to maintain uptime, consistency, scalability and performance while meeting business needs
    • Develops and maintains process documentation and system diagrams


    • Supports projects with software deployments, updates, use of self service, scripting, and troubleshooting
    • Submits and promotes change and communications requests to drive system advancements
    • Coordinates system changes with other IT Ops groups, and the business via change board meetings as necessary
    • Candidate should be able to communicate complex system and ideas in simple understandable ways to other IT management, employees, and non-technical

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Scripting abilities using PowerShell in conjunction with SCCM
    • Possess a strong commitment to a positive end user experience
    • Preferred skills: PowerShell and VDI
