    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

    • Lead the Daily Scrum and other key ceremonies for Agile Development Teams of approximately 7 engineers per team.
    • Be a leader and facilitator of team meetings, team decision-making and team maturity.
    • Guard and support the scrum process while getting the most out of the team.
    • Lead retrospective discussions using both metrics and subjectivity to help continuously improve our team, product, quality, delivery, responsiveness and innovation.
    • Remove internal and external impediments for the team as their servant leader.
    • Help manage risks and remove dependencies.
    • Actively guide the team to deliver client committed deadlines.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Scrum Master II will have the following:

    • A Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment, comparable education and experience will be considered.
    • A technical background thru education (Engineering degree) or experience as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst or Program Manager.
    • At least 1 pertinent Scrum Master Certification.
    • At least 2 -5 years of experience leading Agile Scrum teams.
    • At least 2 years of experience solving technical problems.
    • Has served as Scrum Master for multiple teams.
    • Strong communication skils including the capability to interact and work effectively with eanagement, executives and stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of capturing Agile metrics

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Masters degree in a technical field
    • Have an SSM SAFe Scrum Master Certification a plus.
    • Have an Advanced Scrum Master Certification a plus.
    • Have experience and track record of helping deliver team success.
    • The ability to protect while pushing the development teams.
    • Be able to understand the Why in order to get the team to the How and the What.
    • Be driven to succeed and gain mutual understanding from all stakeholders.
    • Experience training teams and large groups is a plus.
