    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The DISH Strategic Account Manager is a hunter engaging in consultative sales initiatives selling complex telecommunication services to business clients. The SAM is accountable for meeting or exceeding sales goals.  The ideal person will be responsible for selling Data, Managed Wi-Fi & IP Video services into the Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) market.  The focus is on large portfolio opportunities and including REITS, Developers, Telco Consultants, Management Companies and others.

     

    We’ll support you with strong technical assistance and sales coaching. But bringing the ability to get conversations started with technical and owner level business points of contacts will help you to be successful in this role.  DISH Network has an employment opportunity for individuals with energy, intellect, and the need to achieve as a NAM. The job responsibilities include:

    • Prospects, cold calls (by phone and in person) and generates new sales opportunities
    • Manage & maintain all sales activity on SalesForce CRM Platform
    • Develops and maintains strategic account plans
    • Develops relationships with clients and provides solutions to meet their needs
    • Develops proposals and presentations to deliver prospects
    • Partners with Product and Operations team to determine appropriate solutions for complex customer issues
    • Negotiates pricing, service level and terms/conditions with prospective clients
    • Performs ROI assessment for profitability and submits for approval
    • Ensures customer satisfaction throughout sales cycle
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training
    • Two (2) plus years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling Internet and Video solutions
    • Has a “Hunter Sales” mentality, prospects with a consistent cadence & recognizes the value of committing to a process.
    • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
    • High level of computer expertise, including use of internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications and SalesForce.com
    • Flexible, innovative and has the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment while being personal and professional.
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
