    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    About the Brand Marketing Organization

     

    The Brand Marketing Organization pushes itself every day to be a world-class, innovative, data driven team that develops, maintains and maximizes our relationships with key internal constituents and external partners to drive brand awareness that leads to business growth. 

     

    About this role

     

    The Brand Marketing Manager will lead brand activities for the Dish television (DBS) business as well as serve as point of contact for all brand activities in support of the (OnTech) Smart Services (OTSS) business including positioning, campaign development, asset development, and media planning. This individual will be responsible for collaborating and building internal and external relationships to provide this service in partnership with brand, social media, and analytics teams, as well as internal and external agency partners to ensure that brand and business targets are delivered.

     

    Job duties and responsibilities:

    • Partner with Heads of Brand and SHS Marketing to develop brand campaign and guidelines spanning all marketing touchpoints
    • Lead agencies to develop assets that build awareness and understanding of the OTSS brand and its relevant offerings
    • Collaborate with internal and external media experts to create and execute media plan
    • Work with marketing analytics to determine impact of marketing activities making relevant adjustments to tactics to drive real-time optimization

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Marketing Manager will have/be the following: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, MBA preferred; or combination of education and relative work experience 
    • 5+ years of experience in marketing or marketing-related field
    • The successful candidate will likely have led all aspects of brand management, sequentially or simultaneously
    • Experience in building and growing a (new) brand is strongly preferred
    • Strong communication skills that encourage team partnership and collaboration, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking
    • Self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines daily. Organized and attentive to details.
