    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Digital Media Buyer will work on the digital marketing team at Dish as a key component on the digital team and Dish’s success. A person successful in this position will have two years of experience working hands-on buying media in digital platforms including DSPs and Facebook as well as working knowledge on ad tech including ad operations. The media buyer will work to identify areas of efficiencies in media buying and continually work to optimize campaigns and grow the business.


    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Daily hands-on management of Dish digital media platforms within Facebook and DSPs
    • Developing, implementing, following, and continually improving upon a success of media campaigns; being at the forefront of research and testing to allow Dish to have the best media buying platforms
    • Management of campaigns in conjunction with programming relationships including NFL, ESPN, HBO and others; collaborating with various marketing teams across the floor for strategic integrated campaign planning and omni-channel budgeting
    • Working across multiple internal business units across the company with exposure to different language and product offerings (examples include DishLATINO, Dish International, Dish Smart Home Services, Outdoors, Commercial, and other opportunities as they arise)
    • Working with the team on forecasting and budget/pacing check-ins on forecasted amounts
    • Managing and invoicing accounts payable; auditing payments of the platforms


    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Digital Media Buyer will have the following:

    • 3-5 years hands-on experience in Facebook and DSPs (preference given for experience within Trade Desk)
    • 2+ years marketing/business experience
    • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight time constraints
    • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast paced environment strongly preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
