    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Digital Marketing Organization pushes itself every day to be a world-class, innovative, data driven team that develops, maintains and maximizes our relationships with key internal constituents, online agencies, digital ad networks and programming partners to drive business growth.

     

    THE ROLE: Digital Marketing eCommerce & Website Manager

    • Lead innovation and development of digital marketing programs to drive customer acquisition and sales growth through Dish.com and organic search.
    • Effectively manage projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines daily
    • Leverage segmentation and Adobe analytics to provide insights and deliver website programs to maximize return on marketing investment through conversion rate optimization and website personalization and testing.
    • Partner across the marketing department, the broader DISH organization, and with external partners like Google, Facebook, Adobe, ESPN, FOX, AMC, NFL, and others to drive digital campaigns; strategically assess new acquisition opportunities and implement corporate-wide programs leveraging analytic and other tools with a data-driven approach. Implement multi-variate tests using Adobe Target on site.
    • Effectively seek out and share opportunities for conversion improvement and lead implementation through the development team.
    • Partner with internal IT teams to design, implement and report on new pages, assets, and tools for the website; Manage internal and external creative and development resources on multiple desktop and mobile sites; Understand and implement core SEO principles on-site.

    Skills - Experience and Requirements:

    • A strategic mindset, and passion for innovation, agile responsiveness, conversion rate optimization, website testing and driving results; demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency. Ability to think creatively and strategically, but a willingness and desire to ‘roll up your sleeves’.
    • A proven record of effective leadership and desire to mentor and train junior to mid-level team members. Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership, promote enthusiasm and foster strategic thinking.
    • Proven experience and/or desire to work directly with senior leadership teams presenting strategy and results; expertise in online creative, website optimization, personalization and (re)targeting.
    • Sound qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and in-depth experience with online analytics tools such as Omniture/Adobe, Web Trends, Google Analytics.
    • Familiarity with general website development and optimization performance practices: Coding, HTML, CSS, SEO, Metrics & Analytics, Segmentation & Personalization, Tag Management, CMS, A/B/n & Multivariate Testing; experience with following or comparable tools: Tealium UDH, Conductor Searchlight, Screaming Frog, Brightedge, SEMRush, Shopify, Yext, Wordpress, and/or Adobe Experience Manager.
    • A minimum of 5 years experience in digital marketing or a related role. Bachelor’s degree required; or combination of education and similar work experience.
