    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Manager of Smart Home Services Marketing, you will primarily focus on building and growing our Smart Home Services business. DISH Smart Home Services is part of our award-winning IHS (In Home Services) team. With the most trusted and reliable technicians in the business, we have expanded our scope from satellite TV installations and repair to a wide range of other services. Working on behalf of leading brands like Google, Samsung, Amazon and Polk, IHS installs TVs, speakers and smart home products, repairs appliances, connects Wi-Fi networks and much more.

     

    From day one, you will be responsible for learning the DISH business, developing and presenting marketing plans to support the needs of the Smart Home Services business, collaborating with other teams across the company, and working with internal execution teams to produce and distribute marketing campaigns and collateral. To be successful, you will need strong analytical skills, a passion for the customer, and a drive to deliver strategic plans and innovative solutions that allow us to win in the marketplace.

     

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Manage the marketing mix and integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline tactics
    • Develop and present reports for executive leadership that provide a clear picture of performance against goals, and provide strategic insights for key decisions
    • Manage budgets for all spend across tactics used in key programs
    • Drive alignment with key stakeholders inside and outside of marketing and provide recommendations for future strategic initiatives through competitive and financial analysis
    • Translate complex data and analytical models into insights that can be used to develop marketing strategies, planning calendars, and optimize performance
    • Manage key relationships with business partners, internal centers of excellence, agencies and external vendors; collaborate cross-functionally to meet key deadlines and prioritize business objectives

    This is a role for a well-rounded business professional who has a bias for action and can hit the ground running and drive results immediately. The role is challenging given the dynamic market landscape and growing new business lines within an existing company. You will have the opportunity to make a big impact in a short time. 

     

    A successful Marketing Lead will have or be the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field, plus 3 or more years of relevant promotional marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Team player with effective communication skills and strong project management background
    • Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to consistently understand and use data to improve performance
    • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task, innovate, and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis
    • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership and promote enthusiasm
    • Experience in a variety of marketing tactics preferred (online, offline, B2C, B2B)
