    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Digital Account Manager will primarily be responsible for the overall support to the Sling TV Ad Sales team.  Account Managers will be in charge of creating client proposals and completing RFPs/RFIs to educate internal and external teams about Sling TV’s properties and capabilities.  Roles will also include, but not be limited to, executing and maintaining ordered deals, presenting post-campaign insights to clients, and providing guidance and mentorship to Sales Coordinators on client service and best planning practices.

     

    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

    • Responsible for all planning needs for Account Executives and Manageing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry.  Understanding the different types of deals offered on Sling TV and creating direct sales and programmatic plans that meet customer needs
    • Monitoring daily pacing and providing solutions to optimize direct and programmatic deals to maximize both client spend and overall sell through rate
    • Communicate with various data vendors to help manage addressable campaigns and create audience targets in line with client objectives
    • Analyzing Post Campaign and Measurement reports to present to clients highlighting KPIs and campaign wins
    • Work with Sales Coordinators to serve as an interim between Account Executives and Ad Operations teams to ensure campaigns are set up correctly and delivering properly
    • Finalize monthly billing based on campaign delivery and client budgets
    • Work closely with Yield Management team to create and revise media plans that maximize the use of inventory while meeting both internal and external requirement and Maintain direct and programmatic reports for Account Executives and Management to analyze business trajectory and history

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Sales Planner will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum 2 years of Advertising Sales or media buying experience required
    • Must be able to take ownership of a project from start to finish under direction, as needed
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a variety of different tasks on a daily basis
    • Strong analytical ability and Media Math knowledge
    • Must possess the ability to articulate needs and provide direction in a clear and concise manner
    • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
