    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The Business Development Manager will play a vital role in growing the Local Retailer Business by identifying and onboarding new Retailer distribution that will contribute to our overall sales goals. This will be achieved by prospecting, qualifying and generating new Retailer applications to support the Local Retailer Sales Channel. This will include, but not limited to, analyzing channel distribution needs and providing strategic planning for effective national distribution while developing standardized prospecting tools and processes to be used both internally and for customer-facing applications with associated reporting and measurement.



    • Support prospecting needs of the Local, Latino, Distributor, and International sales teams
    • Represent the Local Retailer Channel in cross-departmental meetings for new business development and prospecting collaboration
    • Create and maintain an annual calendar of networking events nationally. Develop a list of recommended events to participate in as an exhibitor
    • Responsible for the development, communication, and implementation of standardized processes for use across the organization
    • Develop systems that will monitor, track, and report results and provide performance reports for the organization on a continuous basis
    • Works closely with other managers and executives to support business objectives
    • Builds and maintains positive business relationships with both internal and external customers
    • Administrative duties as deemed necessary for the business
    • Complies with management reporting and communications as requested
    • Ensure 100% customer/consumer satisfaction

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful candidate will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college, and/or at least 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
    • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff. This includes but not limited to, strong written and oral communication. Other core Competencies includes excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and data interpretation including advanced Excel skills and abilities.  Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage workload, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
    • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and generate usable reporting with data provided including charts, graphs and any other items as requested.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
