    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    At DISH we are disrupting the communications industry and aggressively changing the way the world communicates! We are launching new products, exploring new markets and there is more on the horizon! The Corporate Recruiting team is integral to our success as we supply the fuel for our continued growth and award winning innovation through talent.  We are looking for a talent sourcer to help us prepare for the future by proactively identifying and developing a pipeline of candidates. This sourcer will work on our key roles and hard to fill positions and effortlessly prioritize jobs related to business impact for business units like Product Management and Technology. This is a highly impactful opportunity to help accelerate the business by proactively sourcing and partnering with hiring managers and senior leadership to bring in top talent.

    Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

    • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and executives to deeply understand their teams and requirements for any role for which we’re hunting top talent; develop a customized search strategy that may include partnering with our marketing and advertising partners to build awareness
    • Utilize online databases, career-specific sites such as LinkedIn, social media sites, and networking events to build your pipeline of candidates; get creative and find top-talent through unconventional means
    • Maintain and nurture your pipeline of talent and identify future opportunities that align with their experiences and interests; develop a pool of talent for current roles and future hiring needs
    • Communicate and publish a sourcing plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends and news to be our authority on competitive strategy and intelligence

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    If you love the thrill of the hunt and engaging with passive and hard-to-find candidates, this role is for you. A successful sourcer will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of solid knowledge and experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) of full life-cycle recruitment, selection, and negotiation techniques; a background in agency recruiting, executive search, or in-house sourcing preferred
    • Comfort serving as a brand ambassador for DISH – continuously driving the employee value proposition home for future candidates
    • Excitement for the puzzle of talent acquisition; passion for the candidate experience; interest in recruitment marketing practices and tools
    • Adaptability, resilience, and ability to thrive in ambiguity; flexibility to manage and prioritize multiple searches, projects, and client relationships; ability to operate autonomously and escalate issues accordingly
    • Desire for impact - ready to take on responsibility and work collaboratively with your team and cross-functional stakeholders
    • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and career sites; iCIMS and LinkedIn Recruiter experience is a plus
