    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    A Sales Trainer I is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering training and development programs for the Customer Acquisition and Retention organization. This includes but is not limited to, New Hire, Up-Training (UPT), Continuous Associate Training (CAT), sales flows, order entry tools, competitive intelligence, etc. This role is responsible for guiding New Hires through their onboarding process over the four-week process and deliver an Associate who is able to meet and exceed company goals and customer expectations.

     

    Primary Roles/Responsibilities

    • Daily 8 hours of classroom facilitation
    • Manage and drive performance of sales/retention team
    • Stay up to date with current business changes
    • In person facilitation as well as Virtual training for work at agents.
    • Works with manager to identify role-specific developmental opportunities
    • Support sales floor initiatives and performance
    • Build and maintain interpersonal relationships with all departments in site

     

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Sales Trainer I on the Sales Training & Support Team will have:

    • Ability to learn new techniques to adapt to an ever-changing business
    • Knowledge of and ability to perform all site-specific skills
    • Comfortable owning and communicating changes in the organization
    • Inherent passion for developing skillsets

     

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    • 0-1 years training experience
    • 1-2 years sales experience
    • Call center experience
    • 5-10% travel
    • Group facilitation and classroom management skills
    • Virtual training Experience preferred
    • Ability to drive a team of sales professionals to perform at a high level
    • Adobe connect Experience a plus
