    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    DISH’s Ad Sales team is based out of New York City, with offices in Chicago, Denver, Detroit and Los Angeles. The team is looking for a smart, energetic and strategic thinker to continue and reinforce DISH’s position in the marketplace as innovative leaders.  Primary responsibilities include a strong individual who can:

    • Manage team of 2 to convey a strong brand message for DISH Media and Sling TV in the marketplace.
    • Leads sponsorship execution across all DISH Media events, managing vendor relationships and coordination all logistics/deliverables. 
    • Manages legal and finance needs for all DISH Media marketing initiatives. 
    • Collaborates with Corporate Communications to execute on earned panel/press opportunities, events, and b-to-b sponsorships.
    • Curates and manages thought-leadership content for industry publications, including Adweek, Ad Age, and MediaVillage. 
    • Works alongside Senior Creative Lead to plan and execute DISH Media marketing materials including sales pitches, media packages and sales events.
    • Works closely with Account Executives and Pricing & Inventory on strategic positioning and consistent messaging across marketplace.
    • Accompany Ad Sales, Addressable and Digital sales team when necessary, for presentations and sales pitches. 

    Skills - Experience and Requirements

    A successful Ad Sales Marketing Manager will have the following:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and one plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 3-5 years Advertising Sales Marketing or related experience
    • Experience being the strategic leader on, and execution of, large projects
    • Understanding of the television and new media marketplace/industry
    • Copy writing skills preferred
    • Candidate should have strong computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
    • Presentation skills
